I am a mechanical engineer and am looking for a non proprietary specification on DDC. Also, I would like to know if anyone has any dos and donts regarding designing variable air volume systems and ddc systems. I am presently designing a vav system with low pressure ductwork, fan powered parallel pressure independent terminal boxes so i can pull heat from the return air plenum and supply electric heat to the perimeter zones. The system is presently a pneumatic system with Carrier 35 BA boxes that I want to convert to DDC? I appreciate any help I can get.
